The Stumble

A blistering mix of blues, soul and old school R&B, The Stumble have been wowing audiences with the energy and virtuosity of their live performances for the past 20 years. Festival favourites in every corner of the UK and Europe, The Stumble are taking their creative talents to a new level with their stupendous 4th album, The Other Side.

This is the band that Lazy Lester wanted to take back to the States with him and the band that the blues press widely recognise as one of the strongest live acts that the genre can boast in the UK.

Todd sharpville / Earl Thomas

Todd Sharpville has long been a stalwart on the worldwide blues circuit, and is commonly regarded as being one Britain's finest blues exports. His last album "Porchlight" internationally outsold every British blues release that year and he's recently been back in the studio with Duke Robillard producing at his renowned "Lakewest" studio in Rhode Island to record his impending album "Medication Time" (which is due out in the late Autumn). Todd's songwriting prowess has long been recognised as being in the premier league, as is his fiery yet tasteful guitar style.

Chris Bevington Organisation

Chris Bevington hails from North Staffordshire and hit the Blues scene in 2014 with the release of their debut album “Chris Bevington & Friends.” The album topped the Blues Charts in the UK and the USA receiving fantastic reviews in both the Blues and Rock Community.

During 2015 & 2016 the 9 piece band have toured up and down the UK and have grown a solid reputation for their live performances.

Dom Piano Red Hat

With appearances across the globe backing musicians such as Paloma Faith, Ray Davies, Paul Weller and Morcheeba, the “UK’s best-kept piano secret” is one of the gems of the blues piano scene.  A specialist in New Orleans piano styles, Pipkin’s solo tour has seen him wowing audiences with his virtuosity and deep grooves.

Born Healer

Born Healer play heavy, soulful blues, like Janis Joplin fronting Free according to one reviewer.  Classic Rock: Blues magazine reckoned that, "Helen Turner's voice remains in a different class", while Blues in Britain magazine rated the Born Healer live performance as "blistering blues-laced soul, stunning".  All band members bring a wealth of experience from the UK blues circuit in recent years, while their high-quality musicianship is showcased beautifully in their critically acclaimed recently released debut CD “‘Til the Dawn”.  They are very much looking forward to playing Maryport as

Tom Killner Band

The Blues Magazine

When you get right down to it... to the heart of what the blues are all about... Eric Clapton hit the nail on the head. “It was one man and his guitar versus the world,” he said. “It was one guy who was completely alone and had no options, no alternatives other than just to sing and play to ease his pains.”
